Need help fixing an old family refrigerator

  1. Anonymous

    Hi everyone,

I need some advice or recommendations. My home refrigerator recently stopped working. It's not freezing properly and the cooling is almost gone.

The thing is, this fridge is quite old, but it holds a huge sentimental value for me because it was given to me by my late father, it's his memory/last sign for me. We don't even overload it with food, and my wife takes extra good care of it all the time, cleaning it and keeping it maintained. But out of nowhere, it just stopped cooling.

Since it’s so close to my heart, I really don't want to replace it or buy a new one. I want to get it fixed by someone reliable who understands older models and won't just tell me to "throw it away and buy new."

Has anyone dealt with something similar? Can an older unit like this still be repaired safely? Any trusted local technicians near Vaughan who do good work without charging crazy prices?

Thanks in advance for any help!
